Anachronisms:
At the start of the trial, Bobby Seale claims that the eight defendants are called the "Chicago Seven". In reality, they were originally called the "Chicago Eight". The defendants became known as the Chicago Seven after Seale was severed from the case.
In the movie there was a special female agent Daphne O'Connor from FBI who tried to infiltrate to rioters. The film takes place on events 1968 Chicago , where the FBI director was J. Edgar Hoover. Under Hoover administration, there was no female agents in the FBI from 1930 until his death 1972.
One of the characters says the reason that he was not drafted was that he had a high lottery number. That is impossible as the lottery started after the trial began.
Also, the draft lottery which was shown in the picture had nothing to protests in Chicago because the lottery was a year later.
During the bridge scene the logo for the Conrad Chicago can be seen behind the police. Conrad debuted their first hotel almost twenty years after the timing of the movie.
