Anachronisms:

In a panoramic shot of Moscow, Wynne walks along the embankment opposite the building of the Ministry of Defense. Although it was built in 1951, a late 2014 annex with two-headed eagles on the friezes is visible. In Soviet times, two-headed eagles were a symbol of czarism and under no circumstances could they appear on an official building in the center of Moscow.
The word "gulag" only entered English in the mid-1970s.
The movie portrays Penkovsky witnessing the execution of colonel Popov. While this is debatable, Popov was executed in January 1960. The first scenes of the film take place in August.
At least twice in the movie, someone speaks about "gulag" as the worst outcome of Greville's mission. The word "gulag" got an international repute with the publication of Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn's The Gulag Archipelago in 1973. Or, the story of The Courier in situated in 1962.
The black cabs seen in the London street scenes hail from later than the early 1960s when the movie is supposed to be taking place. They have the larger tail lights and are missing the bunny ears high mounted light units sported by these cabs from this period.

When Wynne is visiting Moscow, the name of the hotel is "Vitaliy", which is a Russian male name. There was no such hotel in Moscow in 1960's. The naming convention at the time would not allow for such a hotel to exist. Moreover, a foreigner visiting Moscow would stay in just a number of hotels, such as "Rossia", "Metropol" and "Ukraine" -- all of them were under an umbrella of a government company "Intourist" (which is basically short for "foreign tourist" in Russian).

See How They Run. 2022, Starring

Anachronisms:

Commissioner Scott refers to the murderer at 10 Rillington Place as a "serial killer", a term that wasn't coined until the 1970s.
The Morris Minor police car that Constable Stalker used in the later part of the movie had a pale blue and white colour scheme that was only brought into use in 1967.
Also, the car is a later model Morris Minor with enlarged front and rear parking lights and turn signals.
When the characters are looking for each other in the theatre, the self door closers are of a modern rectangular design, not the bulky cylindrical design of the 1950s period.
Morris Minors weren't used by the police until 1956. The film is set in 1953.
Some of the dialogue is strictly 21st Century; e.g., assistants were still called "secretaries" back then.
There are many cars used in various scenes that are from later than 1952 which the film is set in.
Most glaring is the blue Ford Anglia that Insp Stoppard goes around in - this model only made its debut in 1953.

In the opening scene, a Renault Dauphine drives in front of the theatre where The Mousetrap was playing. The Dauphine was introduced in 1956.

Various Morris Minors used in the street hail from later years than 1952, as given away by the larger front park light/turn signal units and tail lights they have.

There is also an Austin A35 used. This model only came out in 1956.
At least four characters are black people in positions that black people would never have achieved in 1953 London. And an interracial couple in public would certainly have drawn a great deal of unwanted attention.
At around 02:08 minutes, there is the curtain call at the end of THE MOUSETRAP play, when all eight actors take their bows. However there are only seven actors at the curtain call.
The movie opens with a high-altitude night view labeled London's West End 1953. The lighting shows the modern orange color of high pressure sodium vapor lamps that were not invented until around 1970 and did not become common until the late 1980's.
Inspector Stoppard's drive a car in 1953, when the film is set in (as you can get at beginning of the movie), which is the 1958 model (with that front grille design), the latest version of a Ford Anglia 100E, first released in 1953.
