Isaac Bae portrays George, the runaway to whom Bob tells the story. Rachael Harris appears as Bob's wife Anna, and Kue Lawrence and Catherine Last play their children Bobby and Annie.

Patrick Warburton appears as announcer Tom Terranova and Ken Narasaki plays Ralston Purina. Earthquake plays Cookie Rojas while Sasheer Zamata portrays reporter Beth Donovan. Michael Joseph Pierce portrays General Mills and Ronny Chieng plays a technician named Chuck.

Jeff Lewis, Cedric Yarbrough, and Alex Edelman play Big Yella, Toucan Sam, and Apple Head, respectively, while Ali Wentworth appears as an unidentified woman at Schwinn's funeral and Darrell Hammond plays Ed McMahon.

Trivia: 

The character Cookie Rojas is named after the utility baseball player who played for the Philadelphia Phillies during the time period of the movie and, later, for the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Royals. Seinfeld is a huge New York Mets fan, and Cookie Rojas went on to be their third base coach in the 1990s and 2000s.

Anachronisms: 

There is a Mustang parked on the curb while John F. Kennedy was still President. This was not possible as the Mustang came out in 1964.

When Marjorie Post was talking to the small children in her office in 1963, she referred to the little girl as Cabbage Patch. Cabbage Patch dolls were not introduced until 1978.

The setting is 1963 but they show an Apollo lunar lander that wasn't created until 1966, and an Apollo moon buggy that wasn't created until 1971.

Gus Grissom's death is mentioned but it did not occur until 1967.

Much of the music featured is post-1963.

The movie is set in 1963 but there's a quick cutaway at Bob Cabana's house which shows Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots. This toy wasn't released until 1964.

JFK suggests naming a cereal Jackie O, but Jackie wouldn't be Jackie O until after he died and she remarried.

The setting is 1963, but Marjorie Post says she likes The Addams Family (1964) which didn't air until September 18, 1964.

Jerry Seinfeld walks into the Oval Office in William Howard Taft's suit and pulls out a Baby Ruth bar from his pocket. Taft was President during 1909-1913, and the Baby Ruth was created in 1920. However, Taft was the United States Chief Justice from 1921 to 1930, so in fact it was possible for him to have had a Baby Ruth while wearing that suit. After he died the suit could have been sent back to the White House from the Supreme Court.

Before the fight, Bullwhip says that he must follow the Marquess of Queensberry Rules, which were published in 1867. The film is set around 1850.


Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F. 2024, Starring 


  • Eddie Murphy as Axel Foley, a street-smart police detective lieutenant in the Detroit Police Department, with a history of occasionally travelling to Beverly Hills to investigate lethal crimes against mutual friends and colleagues
  • Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Detective Bobby Abbott, Jane's ex-boyfriend and a police detective in the Beverly Hills Police Department who partners with Axel in the investigation
  • Taylour Paige as Jane Saunders, Axel Foley's estranged daughter who works in Beverly Hills as a criminal defense attorney
  • Judge Reinhold as Billy Rosewood, John Taggart's retired former partner in the Beverly Hills Police Department, now a private investigator

In addition, Luis Guzmán and Damien Diaz make brief appearances as uncle Chalino Valdemoro and nephew Sam Enriquez, respectively, with the nephew's arrest setting the plot in motion. Mark Pellegrino appears as Cade Grant’s henchman Beck. Christopher McDonald makes a cameo as a golf player, a reference to his character in Happy Gilmore. Despite not appearing in the film, Gil Hill and Ronny Cox are seen in photographs as Inspector Douglas Todd and Lieutenant Andrew Bogomil, as the former actor passed away in 2016. Murphys real-life daughter Bria L. Murphy plays a meter maid in an action sequence.

Steven Berkoff, who played antagonist Victor Maitland in the first film, makes a brief, uncredited appearance as a man in Beverly Hills traffic. Murphy's real-life daughter Bria, appears as Renne Minnick, an officer who arrests Foley after he arrives in Beverly Hills

In addition, Channing Tatum and Ryan Reynolds appear in uncredited cameo roles as a train passenger and as assassin Carver, respectively.[7] Reynolds accepted the cameo as a thank-you to Pitt for his own cameo in Deadpool 2 (2018), a film also directed by Leitch.[8] The film's director, David Leitch, appears briefly as the 17th person killed (albeit unintentionally) by Lemon and Tangerine while rescuing The Son.
