Anachronisms:
After the evasion of one musketeers his brother, coming from La Rochelle, wears glasses. The glasses are a 18th century model while the action is supposed to take place way sooner in 1627
The action is set in 1627. By the end of the first installment (d'Artagnan) attends the wedding of king's brother, Gaston d'Orléans, with duchess of Montpensier. It's inaccurate. Actually the wedding took place one year before in August of 1626, as a consequence of the failed Challais'Conspiracy. The Dutchess died in 1627 when the story is supposed to begin.

Anachronisms:
The time period was more likely 1958 because Luke sang, "Plastic Jesus", a folk song which was written in 1957.
At one point in the movie a "white on red" stop sign is shown. In the film's late-1940s time period, stop signs were "black on yellow."
The Korean War took place from June 5, 1950 to July 27, 1953. The time period of the movie "Cool Hand Luke" therefore could not have been in the late 1940's, approximately c1949 as indicated in IMDb Anachronisms.
Dollar bills seen during egg eating contest is Sixties-era money, not that of decades-earlier period in which movie takes place.
Luke sings "Plastic Jesus," a folk song that wasn't written until 1957, well after the time period of the movie (approximately 1949).
1960s vehicles are visible in the background of some scenes.

Anachronisms:
The woods that Sir Gawain goes through are clearly modern plantations of Sitka spruce (a tree that did not reach Britain until the 19th century), all planted at equal distances apart and all grown to the same size; they look nothing like the old-growth deciduous forests that would have been in medieval Britain.
Sir Gawain passes a gibbet cage, a metal cage used for exposing the body of a condemned criminal, swinging in the wind. However, metal cages of this kind were not used until the 17th century at the earliest, long after the setting of "The Green Knight."
The film is set in medieval Britain, but the spelling used throughout the Green Knight's letter is written in US English. Not only that, but the characters talk about doing things "on Christmas" which is used only in America, English speakers referring to "at Christmas", or "on Christmas day". Whilst it's true to say that the modern English idiom is no more correct for the period, it's peculiar that the director should go to the trouble of using European actors and settings and then be so careless about inserting Americanisms.
The story of Gawain and the Green Knight is set well before the Norman Conquest of 1066AD, however Gawain has breakfast at the mansion in front of windows bearing perfectly rectangular, flat panes of glass. Float glass was only first invented by Henry Bessemer in 1848.
The story of Gawain and the Green Knight is set well before the Norman Conquest of 1066AD, however Gawain has breakfast under a fan vaulted ceiling at the mansion where he stays before going to the Green Chapel. The first fan vaulted ceiling was designed by Thomas Cantebugge for the cloisters at Gloucester Cathedral, built between 1351 and 1377.
The story of Gawain and the Green Knight is set well before the Norman Conquest of 1066AD., yet the mansion where Gawain stays before going to the Green Chapel clearly sports neat 16th Century chimneys. Indeed, even the most primitive were not first seen in Europe until the 12th Century.
Perpendicular Gothic windows in the mansion where Gawain stays before going to the green chapel, were first developed as an architectural style to give greater light for stone buildings for the construction of Chartres Cathedral in 1194AD, yet the story of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight is set well before the Norman Conquest of 1066AD.
