Courtesy of Maryatt Music Group, Inc. Quote: William Stryker: "Your country needs you." Logan: "I'm Canadian." Anachronisms: 1. Lighting in the foyer of the 1845 mansion was provided by light bulbs in a grand chandelier. The first home to have electrical lighting was that of Joseph Swan, one of the inventors of the light bulb, in England in 1879. A mansion deep in the Canadian wilderness would not have been outfitted with electricity until several decades after that. 2. Agent Zero has a Humvee at least a decade before their creation. 3. When Team X infiltrate a compound in Nigeria John Wraith's weapon of choice is a G36K assault rifle with an AG36 grenade launcher, the scene is set in the 1970s and this rifle began introduction in the 1990s. 4. (at around 1h 11 mins) When Gambit shocks Logan and Creed in the alley, a pile of modern (large face) 20-dollar bills can be seen floating around. 5. When Victor and Logan are fighting in the Vietnam War (during the opening credits sequence), Victor ends up getting in a fight with American soldiers many of whom are carrying M-16 rifles with a 20" barrel and full barrel guard as well as a period correct non adjustable butt-stock. However when we see Logan running to help Victor, he is carrying a modern AR-15 style carbine rifle with an adjustable butt-stock and smaller 18" barrel with a round barrel guard which wasn't around during the Vietnam War era. 6. Agent Zero uses a Beretta M92 Inox and Taurus PT92. The PT92 wasn't introduced until the 1980s and the Beretta Inox until the 1990s. 7. The unit patch that Stryker wears in Africa is 1st Infantry Division of the US Army -nicknamed "The Big Red One" because it's shoulder patch is a green shield with only a red 1 in it. It is the only subdued shoulder patch to have the color red until 2007 when it was changed. The patch Stryker is wearing is a brown shield with a black 1, made after 2007.

The Wolverine. 2013, Starring
Hugh Jackman as Logan / Wolverine:
A mutant, whose prodigious healing abilities and adamantium infused skeleton combine to make him virtually immortal. Jackman also portrayed the character in the previous X-Men films. In terms of his character Jackman views Wolverine as "the ultimate outsider" and that "the great battle, I always thought with Wolverine, is the battle within himself".[9] Regarding Logan's struggle with extreme life longevity, Jackman said, "He realizes everyone he loves dies, and his whole life is full of pain. So it's better that he just escapes. He can't die really. He just wants to get away from everything."[10] Jackman stated that he ate six meals a day in preparation for the role.[11] Jackman contacted Dwayne Johnson for some tips on bulking up for the film. Johnson suggested that for six months, he gain a pound a week, by eating 6,000 calories a day which consisted of "an awful lot of chicken, steak and brown rice".[12]
Hiroyuki Sanada as Shingen Yashida:
Ichirō's son[13] as well as Mariko's father and corporate rival,[14] who is proficient in kendo.[15]
Tao Okamoto as Mariko Yashida:
Ichirō's granddaughter, whose life becomes threatened as a result of her grandfather's will. About her character, Okamoto said that Mariko is no pushover and is proficient in karate and knife-throwing.[16]
Rila Fukushima as Yukio:
A precognitive mutant and one of the deadliest assassins in Ichirō’s clan.[14][17][18][19] Fukushima said, "My character's very physical. Yukio and Wolverine have a lot in common. She really takes care of him and he also cares about her."[16] Mangold described Yukio as a lethal fighter who is "both sexy and almost kind of sprung from the anime world."[10]
Famke Janssen as Jean Grey:
A mutant, former member and former medical doctor of the X-Men, whom Logan killed at the end of X-Men: The Last Stand. Jackman said, "There’s no doubt that the most important relationship in his life is — we’ve seen through the movies — is his relationship with Jean Grey. Yes, we saw her die at the end of ‘X-Men: The Last Stand,’ but in this movie, she has a presence, which I think is vital to the movie, particularly for him confronting the most difficult thing within himself."[20]
Will Yun Lee as Kenuichio Harada:
A former lover of Mariko and head of the Black Ninja Clan, sworn to protect the Yashida family. Lee said that he underwent rigorous sword training for the film.[16][21]
Svetlana Khodchenkova as Dr. Green / Viper:
A mutant, who has an immunity to toxins.[10][22] About her character, Khodchenkova said "Viper doesn't really have many people that she cares about, most of them she just uses for her own purpose."[16] Mangold said, "as her name would imply, she's kind of snakelike," and that Viper views Logan "like a great hunter might view hunting a lion in his quarry."[10] The film does not reference Viper's comic book history as an agent of Hydra, due to rights issues with Marvel Studios.[23]
Haruhiko Yamanouchi as Ichirō Yashida:
Shingen's father,[13] Mariko's grandfather and the founder of Yashida Industries, a powerful technology zaibatsu. Logan saved him during the atomic bombing of Nagasaki.[14] Young version portrayed by Ken Yamamura.
Brian Tee as Noburo Mori:
A corrupt minister of justice, who is engaged to Mariko.[21]
Additionally, Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen reprise their roles as Charles Xavier / Professor X and Erik Lehnsherr / Magneto in cameo appearances during the mid-credits scene. DVD, January 8, 2018. Soundtrack: "Requiem KV 626 - Sequentia Rex Tremendae" - Written by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart,

This means that it was an early 20th century Imperial army made sword (a reproduction mass produced for Japanese officers).

Cheney Chen as the Commander of the Imperial Guard. The Movie Network, January 9, 2018. Soundtrack: "At the Border" - Vocal by Zhao Mu-Yang, Lyrics by Wang Changling, Melody by Leehom Wang. Anachronisms: 1. The film shows a manned balloon being used to hunt the dragons. The first known aeronautical balloon was flown in France in 1783, nearly 700 years later. 2. The film was set in Song dynasty China. However, the heavily fortified brick and mortar Great Wall depicted in the film was built much later during the Ming dynasty.

Anachronisms: 1. When Vortigern goes into Catia's room toward the end of the film, one of the birds in the background is clearly a Rose-Breasted Cockatoo (commonly known as a Galah), which is only found in Australia. While everything in this film suggests some fantastical locations around Europe, there is no indication that any character has even been to Australia, much less traveled to collect a bird as a pet. 2. Arthur uses the term "razzle-dazzle", which was not coined until the 19th Century.

Under license from Universal Music Enterprises. Anachronisms: 1. The graphics on the seismic devices are far beyond the capabilities of computers in 1973, let alone portable computers. 2. The ID Bands on the P-51D shown in the movie intro represent ID band used by Pacific Fighter Squadron that later on in the movie when shown in the construction of the river boat, have a red outlining which is incorrect. The red outlining was removed from all US markings after 1943. 3. The cargo ship displays a giant "no smoking" sign in red letters. Smoking bans on general merchant vessels became effective only in 2009. No ship in the 70's would have had such instructions prominently painted on the deck. 4. The Athena cargo ship used to carry the team to the island wasn't built until 2003. 5. The film depicts an anti-Vietnam War protest in 1973 and treats President Richard Nixon's troop withdrawal announcement as a surprise. In fact, the Paris Accords had been signed in December 1972 and anti-war demonstrations petered out after Nixon accepted cease-fire terms the previous May. It was no secret to anyone in January 1973 that U.S. military involvement in Vietnam was over. 6. The Ka-Bar combat knife carried by one of the soldiers had serrations on the back edge. The serrations shown are a copyrighted pattern of the Spyderco company that did not exist before 1981. 7. Marlow said they scavenged parts from a crashed B-29 which explain the cockpit parts on the boat but the gun turret at the stern is from a ball turret like those found on a B-17. The B-29 did not have manned gun turrets except for the tail, they were remotely controlled from within the aircraft and so would not have had any Plexiglas like the turret used on the boat. Furthermore, the B-29 was not in common use until after he was shot down. 8. One of the technical staff is referred to as a "data wrangler," a 21st century job title. 9. When she is detailing her military experience Mason mentions she was "...embedded with MACV-SOG". The practice of embedding journalists with military units during wartime did not become a formal practice until the Iraq War of 2003. Prior to that many journalists during the Vietnam War, like Joe Galloway who was with the 7th Cavalry at the Ia Drang Valley, had to find their own way to the battlefield. 10. When Randa and Brooks go to get approval for the mission from Senator Willis, the computer terminals being used are Digital Equipment Corp VT100s, introduced in late 1978. 11. Weaver is inspecting B&W film in her darkroom by holding it up to the light. The edge marking says Kodak 400TX, a 2007 model. 12. The US insignia on the B-29 and P-51 fuselage and wings used for the makeshift boat is outlined in red. This particular insignia was used on US aircraft only for a short time during 1943. The B-29 did not enter service until 1944, so none would have had that insignia. 13. Near the start of the film, Mason Weaver is examining some 35mm film, which has the words Kodak 400TX on the edge. This is new Kodak Tri-X, which wasn't available in 1973. It should have read Kodak 5063, which was the edge code for this film at the time. 14. When Hank Marlow returns home he is greeted by his son he never met. This son would be at least 29 years old instead of the teenager who greets him. 15. When updating Hank Marlow on everything he's missed in the past 29 years, Marlow asks what the man who landed on the moon eats. Victor responds, "Tang, Spam", and Hank just nods and accepts it. Although Hank would know what Spam was, Tang was not invented until 1957, introduced to the public until 1959, and popular until the mid-1960's. Given Hanks dim-witted curiosity, the chances he wouldn't ask "What's Tang?" are unlikely. 16. The satellite that produced the imagery is called Landsat in the film. The satellite launched in 1972 was called Earth Resources Technology Satellite (ERTS). Its name was changed to Landsat in 1975, two years after the film was set. 17. Early in the movie, Packard reaches for a box of cigars, with a Rocky Patel cigar label, which contains his medals. Rocky Patel Cigar Company has only been around since 2002. 18. Packard wears a baseball-style cap with a adjustable strap in the back. In 1973 the Army only wore fitted caps.
