Trivia: It is an American science fiction action-comedy film produced by Columbia Pictures, 1492 Pictures and Happy Madison Productions. The film was directed by Chris Columbus. Its screenplay was written by Tim Herlihy and Timothy Dowling, with a screen story penned by Tim Herlihy and based on French director Patrick Jean's 2010 short film of the same name.[4] The film features computer animated video games characters, special effects, and stars Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Josh Gad, Peter Dinklage, Michelle Monaghan, Brian Cox, Ashley Benson, and Jane Krakowski. The film's plot has extraterrestrials misinterpreting video-feeds of classic arcade games as a declaration of war, and invading Earth using technology inspired by games such as Pac-Man and Space Invaders. To counter the alien assault, the United States hire former arcade champions to lead the planet's defense. Principal photography on the film began in 2014 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was released in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D in 2015. The film had a production budget of $88 million, with print and marketing bringing it to a total cost of around $145 million. The worldwide gross was $244 million. Despite receiving generally negative reviews, the movie was a commercial success. Filming locations:

The closing credits re-run a synopsis of the movie in 8-bit style. The opening titles look like they show a triple reflection off a monitor screen and protective glass, typical on an arcade game.
Although Denis Akiyama plays a fictionalized version of Pac-Man creator Toru Iwatani, the real Iwatani also appears in the film as an arcade repairman. Iwatani did not portray himself because he doesn't speak English.
Chris Columbus said that President Cooper was modeled after New Jersey governor Chris Christie.
Cameo - Sadie Sandler: the girl with the lemonade stand is Adam Sandler's daughter.
Quote: Violet: "Don't tell anybody that I killed a Smurf!" Anachronisms: 1. In the opening scenes, set in 1982, characters discuss their favorite celebrities. Madonna and Samantha Fox are among those mentioned. Both women had started their careers in 1982, but neither was a celebrity. 2. The aliens base their appearance and attacks after arcade game footage from the year 1982. However, several of the game figures that the aliens use for their patterns are from games released after that year, such as Tetris, Arkanoid, and Paperboy. One game referenced, Duck Hunt, was not only released after 1982, but was initially a home-console only game. 3. In the final act, the main character from Paperboy emerges from the ship. Paperboy came out in 1985, 3 years after the probe was sent into space. 4. In 1982, a video game contestant wears a Karate Kid-style headband and uses the crane kick stance. The Karate Kid was released in 1984. 5. The alien footage of Daryl Hall and John Oates was taken from the time when they were guest VJs on MTV. This took place in 1986, which was 4 years after the time capsule was shot into space. 6. Arcade games in 1982 used CRT screens, while the ones shown in the beginning have LCD screens (no curvature, no scan lines, no phosphor persistence). 7. An alien appears as the character Max Headroom to communicate with the humans during the final battle. But Max Headroom didn't debut until 1985's Max Headroom, 3 years after the probe was sent into space. 8. Corporal Hill wears a uniform that is out of date. Modern British Army uniforms have their rank tabs on the front of their jackets not on the shoulders. The credits claim that the character is "SAS" (Special Air Service, a British Special Forces Unit) - the beret badge is incorrect for SAS and the beret is green, SAS berets are a 'sand' colour. Additionally, the camouflage pattern on Hill's uniform is incorrect. While the DPM (Disruptive Pattern Material) pattern shown was used by the British military, it was completely phased out by 2013 in favor of MTP (Multi Terrain Pattern), a Multicam derivative.

Trivia: It is a British drama film directed by Simon Curtis and written by Alexi Kaye Campbell. The film stars Helen Mirren, Ryan Reynolds, Daniel Brühl, Katie Holmes, Tatiana Maslany, Max Irons, Charles Dance, Elizabeth McGovern, and Jonathan Pryce. The film is based on the true story of the late Maria Altmann, an elderly Jewish refugee living in Cheviot Hills, Los Angeles, who, together with her young lawyer, Randy Schoenberg, fought the government of Austria for almost a decade to reclaim Gustav Klimt's iconic painting of her aunt, Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I, which was stolen from her relatives by the Nazis in Vienna just prior to World War II. Altmann took her legal battle all the way to the Supreme Court of the United States, which ruled on the case Republic of Austria v. Altmann (2004). The film was screened in the Berlinale Special Galas section of the 65th Berlin International Film Festival.
Historical accuracy:
Film critics in Austria and Germany noted various deviations of the film from historical reality. Olga Kronsteiner from the Austrian daily Der Standard wrote that, contrary to the film, it was not Maria Altmann's lawyer, Randol Schönberg, who researched and initiated the restitution case, but Austrian journalist Hubertus Czernin, who had worked on a number of restitution files at the time, who found the decisive documents and subsequently informed Maria Altmann.[16]
Hubertus Czernin, who is depicted in the movie, is suggested to have been motivated by the fact that his father had been a member of the Nazi Party; but Stefan Grissemann from Austrian weekly Profil pointed out that his father's party membership was not known to Czernin until 2006, long after he had started to work on this and other restitution cases; and that in addition Czernin's father was imprisoned by the Nazis late in the war for high treason.[citation needed]
Thomas Trenkler from the Viennese daily Kurier criticized the film's reference to a time limit for restitution claims in Austria, writing that there has never been such a time limit. He also wrote that his least favorite scene in the film was when Maria Altmann leaves her ailing father in Vienna in 1938. Despite the imminent danger, Maria Altmann stayed in Vienna, having said, "I would never have left my father! He died of natural causes in July 1938". Only then did she and her husband escape from Vienna.[17]
After the Austrian government finally returned Ms. Altmann's family's heirlooms to her, she consigned some of the Klimts to the auction house Christie's, to be sold on her behalf, fetching a total of over $327 million. The Woman in Gold itself was sold to Lauder's Neue Galerie in New York for $ 135 million based on an earlier agreement between Altmann and Ronald Lauder, a part of which is shown in the film.

While Randol and Maria drive down Sunset Boulevard, a billboard for the 2014 film "Guardians of the Galaxy" appears visibly in the distance down the street while the time period of the scene is supposed to take place in 1999. 2. In an establishing shot of Vienna, towards the end of the film, a red Mini Clubman can be seen driving down the road, away from the camera. This model of the Mini Clubman was introduced in 2007, the film is set in the late 1990s.

Paul Walker as Brian O'Conner, a former FBI agent-turned-criminal and professional street racer who has retired and settled down with his partner, Mia, and their son, Jack.
Caleb and Cody Walker, Paul's younger brothers, were used among others as Stand-Ins to complete his remaining scenes following their brother's death in a single-vehicle crash on November 30, 2013.[10]
Dwayne Johnson as Luke Hobbs, a DSS agent who allied with Dom and his team after their outings in Rio de Janeiro and Europe. It is later revealed that he is also a father, to a young girl. Johnson initially said that if Universal Pictures pursued the accelerated development of a seventh film beginning in the summer, he would be unable to participate due to scheduling conflicts with filming on Hercules.[12] However, as production for the film would commence in September, he confirmed his return for the film, as Hercules would complete production in time to enable him to film a significant part.[13]
Michelle Rodriguez as Letty Ortiz, Dom's wife and a professional street racer, who was revealed to have suffered from amnesia after being presumed dead in Fast & Furious.
Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce, a member of Dom's team and a childhood friend of Brian.
Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges as Tej Parker, a mechanic and technician, and a friend of Brian and Roman's from Miami.
Jordana Brewster as Mia Toretto, Dom's younger sister and a former member of his team who has settled down with her partner, Brian, and their son, Jack.
Djimon Hounsou as Mose Jakande, a Somalian mercenary and terrorist who leads a private military company that allies with Shaw and uses the God's Eye to track its creator and use her to track down his enemies.[14]
Tony Jaa as Kiet, a member of Jakande's team who possesses great agility, athleticism and fighting prowess. Thai martial arts actor Jaa was confirmed to have joined the cast in August 2013, making his Hollywood debut.[15][16]
Ronda Rousey as Kara, the Head of Security for an Abu Dhabi billionaire. Rousey's involvement was confirmed in August 2013. Having committed to The Expendables 3 at the same time (along with Russell, who later pulled out, and Statham), Rousey was forced to shoot both films back-to-back in order to allow herself 45 days to focus on training for her UFC championship rematch against Miesha Tate. Her participation in the film was similar to that of Gina Carano making the transition from mixed martial arts fighting to acting, following Carano's involvement in Fast & Furious 6.[17]
Nathalie Emmanuel as Ramsey, a British computer hacktivist and the creator of the God's Eye, who allies with Dom and his team after being saved from Jakande and helps them to regain control of her program.[14]
Kurt Russell as Mr. Nobody, the leader of a covert ops team who agrees to help Dom stop Shaw if he can help him prevent Jakande from obtaining a computer program called the God's Eye.
Jason Statham as Deckard Shaw, a rogue special forces assassin seeking to avenge his comatose younger brother after his demise at the hands of Dom and his team in Spain.
Sung Kang as Han, a member in Dominic's crew, appearing in archive footage
Gal Gadot as Gisele, a member in Dominic's crew, appearing in archive footage
Lucas Black as Sean Boswell, an American street racer who lives in Tokyo whom Dom meets when he travels to Tokyo to claim the body of Han, a mutual friend of theirs killed by Shaw. In September, it was confirmed that Black had signed on to reprise his role as Boswell for Furious 7 and two more installments.[18][19]
Elsa Pataky as Elena Neves, a DSS agent and former Rio police officer who moved to the United States to become Hobbs' new partner at the DSS.
Noel Gugliemi as Hector, a street race organizer, reprising his role from the first film.
John Brotherton as Sheppard, Petty's right-hand man.[14][20][21][22]
Ali Fazal plays Safar, a friend of Ramsey to whom she sent the God's Eye for safekeeping. It is Fazal's first appearance in an American film. He described his role as a cameo.[23] Luke Evans briefly reprises his role from the previous film as Owen Shaw, the comatose younger brother of the film's primary antagonist.[24]
Australian rapper Iggy Azalea makes a cameo appearance as a Race Wars fan; she contributed to the soundtrack.[25][26][27] American singer-rapper T-Pain appears as himself as he DJs a party in Abu Dhabi.[28][29] Klement Tinaj cameos as a Race Wars Racer.[30]
Bow Wow and Nathalie Kelley appear in archive footage from The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift as Twinkie and Neela, respectively. Tego Calderón and Don Omar appear as Leo and Santos, respectively, in archive footage from Fast Five.

Trivia: It is an American action film directed by James Wan and written by Chris Morgan. It is the seventh installment in the Fast and the Furious franchise. The film stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Kurt Russell, and Jason Statham. Furious 7 follows Dominic Toretto (Diesel), Brian O'Conner (Walker) and the rest of their team, who have returned to the United States to live normal lives after securing amnesty for their past crimes in Fast & Furious 6 (2013), until Deckard Shaw (Statham), a rogue special forces assassin seeking to avenge his comatose younger brother, puts them in danger once again. With the previous three installments set between 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003) and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006), Furious 7 is the first installment in the franchise to take place after Tokyo Drift. The film also marks the final film appearance of Walker, who died in a single-vehicle crash on November 30, 2013, with filming only half-completed.[9] Following Walker's death, filming was delayed for script rewrites, and his brothers, Caleb and Cody, were used among others as stand-ins to complete his remaining scenes.
Redevelopment of Walker's character: In January 2014, Time reported that Walker's character, Brian O'Conner, would be retired instead of killed, and that new scenes would be developed in order to allow the franchise to continue without him.[73] In March 2014, the Daily News reported that the studio had hired four actors with bodies similar to Walker's physique, and that his face and voice would be computer-generated,[74] and in April 2014, Walker's brothers Caleb and Cody, both of whom closely resemble him, were chosen as stand-ins.[75] For scenes which required re-creating Walker's face and body, the team hired Peter Jackson's Weta Digital (which produced the imagery of Gollum in The Lord of the Rings franchise and Caesar in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes). The final film includes a combination of CGI and the use of carefully chosen camera angles and lighting using Walker's brothers to simulate his appearance.[76] Robin Shenfield, CEO of London's special effects studio, The Mill, noted that the redevelopment was similar to that of Oliver Reed's when his character had to be redeveloped the same way as a result of his death during filming of Gladiator.

Trivia: It is a film about the black cardiac pioneer Vivien Thomas and his complex and volatile partnership with white surgeon Alfred Blalock, the world famous "Blue Baby doctor" who pioneered modern heart surgery. Based on the National Magazine Award-winning Washingtonian magazine article "Like Something the Lord Made" by Katie McCabe, the film was directed by Joseph Sargent and written by Peter Silverman and Robert Caswell. Filming locations: Baltimore, Maryland, USA; Sykesville, Maryland, USA. Quote: Alfred Blalock: "Where you see risks, I see opportunity." Anachronism: After Clara takes her seat on the bus and begins talking to Vivian, a modern SUV, sedan, and pickup truck are briefly visible in a parking lot behind them.

Trivia: It is an American biographical drama film directed by Bill Pohlad that focuses on musician-songwriter Brian Wilson, co-founder of the Beach Boys. The film, deriving its title from the 1988 song by Wilson, is presented in a parallel narrative covering two specific time periods in Wilson's life: the 1960s and the 1980s. Paul Dano and John Cusack depict the young and middle-aged Wilson, respectively, with Elizabeth Banks as Wilson's second wife Melinda Ledbetter, and Paul Giamatti as Wilson's psychotherapist Dr. Eugene Landy. Love & Mercy was distributed in the United States by Roadside Attractions, beginning June 5, 2015. The soundtrack, Music from Love & Mercy, was released on August 14, 2015. The film premiered in the Special Presentations section of the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival. It received critical acclaim and was nominated for two Golden Globes: Best Supporting Actor – Motion Picture (Paul Dano) and Best Original Song ("One Kind of Love"). Reviewers praised the film for its unorthodox approach to biography, original film score by composer Atticus Ross, Dano's performance as the increasingly unstable Wilson of the 1960s, and scenes which closely recreate Wilson's advanced studio recording methods during the making of the Beach Boys' album Pet Sounds (1966). The real life Wilson – who had little involvement with the film's development – called it "very factual." Filming locations:

In the end credits, first, there's concert footage of the recent Brian Wilson, himself, singing "Love & Mercy", and then at the very end there is audio of a brief recreated studio recording of Good Vibrations, with '60s Brian leading the dialogue.
Paul Dano gained 35 pounds to play Brian Wilson, eating 4,500 calories a day. He claims to have torn a ligament in his knee playing basketball due to the extra weight.
Contrary to what is shown, the song "Good Vibrations" was written several months before the completion of "Pet Sounds". Quote: Brian Past: "We can't let them get ahead of us." [Referring to The Beatles]. Anachronism: Brian tells Melinda when they are sitting in the Cadillac in the showroom that his brother died two years earlier. Dennis drowned in December 1983. That would make the scene set in 1985 or early 1986. The song playing in the background is "Songbird" by Kenny G, which was not released until 1987.

In 2008, Anthony Ingruber uploaded videos on YouTube which included a Han Solo performance from Star Wars. Ingruber looks very similar to a young Harrison Ford and became well-known on the internet for his spot-on impressions. Anthony Ingruber was chosen for the part of Young William because of his strong resemblance to Harrison Ford when he was young. Quote: Adaline Bowman: "I am too old for this." Anachronism: In 1929, Adaline and her mother visit the Golden Gate Bridge which "three years hence" would be completed. The narrator then states that in February of 1937, there is a construction accident - eight years after 1929. The 1937 date is correct for the Bridge's history, so the original statement is in error.
