Trivia: It is an American musical comedy-drama film written and directed by John Carney and starring Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo. Knightley plays a singer-songwriter who is discovered by a struggling record label executive (Ruffalo) and collaborates with him to produce an album recorded in public locations all over New York City. After the success of his 2007 musical film Once, Carney wrote the script for Begin Again in 2010 and employed Gregg Alexander to compose most of the film's music. With an US$8 million budget, production began in July 2012 with filming taking place in various locations around New York City. The film premiered in September 2013 at the Toronto International Film Festival and was released theatrically on June 27, 2014, in conjunction with the release of the film's soundtrack. It has grossed over $63 million worldwide and received mostly positive reviews from critics. It was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song. Filming locations:
Meatpacking District, Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA
Washington Square Park, Greenwich Village, Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA

References: Casablanca (1942) - during the shared playlist scene Greta play a song from Casablanca saying it's from one of her favorite film.
Taxi Driver (1976) - Dan complains his daughter looks like Jodie Foster in Taxi Driver.
Jerry Maguire (1996) - When Dan says he'll take his clients' list after being fired, Saul tells him that he's not Jerry Maguire.
The Mob Doctor (2012) (TV Series) - A large billboard advertising the show is visible at Time Square.
Keira Knightley had to learn play the guitar for the role and her husband, musician James Righton, offered his help. However, according to Knightley herself, his lessons were atrocious for their relationship, and almost led to a "divorce and murder".
Much of the film is improvised
Dan's last name is Mulligan. A mulligan, in a game, happens when a player gets a second chance to perform a certain move or action. The practice is also sometimes referred to as a "do-over." This is similar to the title and overall premise the film. Getting a second chance.
In the scene where Gretta (Keira Knightley) and Dan (Mark Ruffalo) have dinner at a small café before Dan storms out, Knightley's mother Sharman Macdonald makes a cameo appearance as a customer at the table directly behind them.
Scarlett Johansson was cast in the lead role but dropped out.
The red electric guitar Adam plays at the end of the movie is his actual guitar he plays at concerts.
Former Irish Boyzone vocalist Ronan Keating vied unsuccessfully for the part of Dave that ultimately went to Maroon 5's Adam Levine.
The original working title of the film was "Can a Song Save Your Life?"
The Electric Lady recording studio was also featured in Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist (2008).
Both Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo were nominated for Best Actor/Actress in Supporting Role in 87th Academy Awards.
On the roof top, the band is playing a song where the guys yells out the window "I am going to call the cops." It is the scene in Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist "Where's Fluffy" plays.
When they record the first live song outside, one of the children playing in the alley is Mark Ruffalo's son, Keen.
Quotes: 1.Dan: "She's English; she's a little uptight." 2. Gretta: "I told you, I write songs from time to time." Dan: "What do you write them for?" Gretta: "What do you mean what for? For my pleasure. And for my cat." Dan: "Oh really? Does he like them?" Gretta: "She. Yes, she seems to." Dan: "How do you know?" Gretta: "Because she purrs." Dan: "Maybe she's booing." 3. Dan: :Musicians for the most part are monosyllabic teenagers who really don't have a whole lot to say."

Trivia: It is an American ensemble action film directed by Patrick Hughes, and written by Creighton Rothenberger, Katrin Benedikt, and Sylvester Stallone. It is a sequel to the 2012 action film The Expendables 2, and the third installment in The Expendables film series. The film features Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Antonio Banderas, Jet Li, Wesley Snipes, Dolph Lundgren, Kelsey Grammer, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Kellan Lutz, Ronda Rousey, Glen Powell, Victor Ortiz, Robert Davi, Mel Gibson, Harrison Ford, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. The story follows the mercenary group known as "The Expendables" as they come into conflict with ruthless arms dealer Conrad Stonebanks (Gibson), the Expendables' co-founder, who is determined to destroy the team. Principal photography began on August 19, 2013, in Bulgaria and at the Nu Boyana Film studio in Sofia[1] and ended on October 22.[39] In September 2013, Crews revealed in an interview that Statham survived an on-set mishap when the truck he was driving plunged into the Black Sea after its brakes had failed. Kelsey Grammer won the Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Supporting Actor for his work in the film, while Mel Gibson and Arnold Schwarzenegger were also nominated in that category at the 35th Golden Raspberry Awards.

Trivia: It is an American war film written and directed by David Ayer. The film stars Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Michael Peña, and Jon Bernthal. The film portrays US tank crews in Nazi Germany during the final days of World War II. Ayer was influenced by the service of veterans in his family and by reading books, such as Belton Y. Cooper's Death Traps, about American armored warfare in World War II. Ayer aimed for a greater degree of realism in the film than in other World War II dramas. Rehearsal began in early September 2013 in Hertfordshire, England followed by principal photography on September 30, 2013, in Oxfordshire. Filming continued for a month and a half at different locations, which included the city of Oxford, and concluded on November 13. Fury was released on October 17, 2014. The film received positive reviews from critics and proved to be successful at the box office. Filming locations:

Spoofed in Tosh.0: Sign Spinner (2015) (TV Episode) - Tosh interacts with Brad Pitt's character inside the tank.
The opening title is indirectly shown by the painting on the tank.
The Main Shermans used in Fury were :
'Fury' is an M4A2E8 (76)W HVSS Sherman tank from the Bovington Tank Museum, formerly 'Ron/Harry'.
'Lucy Sue', an M4A2 Sherman from Tay Restorations.
'Matador' is M4E8 (76)W HVSS Sherman from Jeep Sud Est.
'Murder, Inc.' is an M4A4 Sherman from Adrian Barrell.
'Old Phyllis' is an M4A1 (76)W Sherman.
It has been reported that Shia LaBeouf became a Christian while shooting this movie. His actual words were, "I found God during 'Fury'. I became a Christian man, and not in a f___ing bulls__t way
- in a very real way. I could have just said the prayers that were on the page, but [...] it's a full-blown exchange of heart, a surrender of control." He commented that talking with Brad Pitt, who grew up in a conservative Christian home but rejected Christianity, and with David Ayers, the Christian director of the film, helped crystallize his thinking.
This marks the first time a genuine Tiger I tank has been used in the production of a WW II film. It features "Tiger 131" from the UK's Bovington Tank Museum, the only fully functioning Tiger tank in the world.
Credits: "WW II topo map courtesy McMaster University Map Collection, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada."
Quote: "Norman Ellison: I'm scared." Wardaddy: "I'm scared too, son." Anachronisms: 1. In one scene inside the tank, Boyd 'Bible' Swan is smoking a Natural American Spirit cigarette, these cigarettes were not in manufacture until 1982 thus would not have existed in 1945. 2. In the beginning of the film, the camera sweeps across the inside of the tank and there is a glimpse of a cowgirl pinup poster. This particular painting was done by Gil Elvgren and is called "Come And Get It". It was painted in 1959. 3. The Zippo used is a modern version with rounded edges. At the time it would have been square. 4. Near the beginning of the movie, Wardaddy tells his crew to take care of mechanical issues. The use of the word "issue" to mean "problem " did not start until the beginning of the behavior revolution in the 1960s and early 1970s.

Some people have questioned whether or not a strong tornado could actually lift an aircraft like a 747 as depicted in the movie. Tornadoes have been known to pick up railroad engines before. An SD40-2 locomotive which is an average sized locomotive weighs 368,000 lbs. An empty 747-400 weighs 393,000 lbs, so there is not that great of a weight difference. Also, the wings would make the 747 more aerodynamic than the dead weight of a locomotive. So theoretically it would be possible for a 747 to be picked up by a strong tornado.

Trivia: It is an American body horror comedy film written and directed by Kevin Smith, based on a story from his SModcast podcast. The film stars Michael Parks, Justin Long, Haley Joel Osment, Génesis Rodríguez, and Johnny Depp. The film is intended to be the first in Smith's planned True North trilogy. Tusk had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, before it was released on September 19, 2014, by A24 Films. The film was Smith's first major wide release since Cop Out, and performed poorly at the box office after receiving mixed reviews. Production: The idea for the film came during the recording of SModcast 259 The Walrus and The Carpenter.[9] In the episode, Smith with his longtime friend and producer Scott Mosier discussed an article featuring a Gumtree ad where a homeowner was offering a living situation free of charge, if the lodger agrees to dress as a walrus. The discussion went on from there, resulting in almost an hour of the episode being spent on reconstructing and telling a hypothetical story based on the ad. Smith then told his Twitter followers to tweet "#WalrusYes" if they wanted to see their hypothetical turned into a film, or "#WalrusNo" if they did not. A vast majority of Smith's following agreed that the film should be made. The post on Gumtree was in fact a prank post by noted Brighton poet and prankster Chris Parkinson, who upon hearing of the planned film said he was a big fan of Smith and that he would love to be involved. Smith eventually hired Parkinson as an associate producer in November.
Filming: Principal photography began on November 4, 2013,[8] and wrapped on November 22, 2013.[17] The starting date was delayed from September to October then to November due to the filming location moving from Canada to North Carolina.[18] An additional two days of filming occurred in Los Angeles for scenes involving Depp's character Guy LaPointe. Smith originally considered Quentin Tarantino to play Lapointe after seeing his appearance in Django Unchained but Tarantino said he had no interest in acting at the moment. Filming locations: Charlotte, North Carolina, USA; Los Angeles, California, USA.

Greg Nicotero was the first choice to create the special effects, particularly the walrus suit. Smith states on Smodcast Episode 259, that he knows how much Nicotero loves the movie "Jaws", to the point that Nicotero even constructed a real 25 foot replica of the shark 'Bruce' in real life for fun, and would jump at the chance to create something similar. Nicotero turned down the job due to commitments with "The Walking Dead", and recommended his friend and former partner Robert Kurtzman.

Soundtrack: "Semester At Sea" - Composed by Gerald Trottman; "Never Too Much" - Performed by The Blueprint; "Invincible" - Performed by Sahaj and Julia Michaels; "You Got Me" - Performed by Gavin DeGraw; "Brave Souls" - Performed by Cozi Zuehlsdorff.
Trivia: It is an American family drama film written and directed by Charles Martin Smith and is the sequel to his 2011 film Dolphin Tale. Harry Connick, Jr., Ashley Judd, Nathan Gamble, Cozi Zuehlsdorff, Kris Kristofferson, Morgan Freeman, Juliana Harkavy, Austin Stowell, Betsy Landin, and Austin Highsmith all reprise their roles from the first film while Lee Karlinsky, Julia Jordan, Taylor Blackwell, and Bethany Hamilton join the cast. The film was released on September 12, 2014 and tells the story of another dolphin at the hospital named "Hope". After Winter's elderly companion and surrogate mother, Panama, passes away, Winter's future is put in jeopardy, unless Sawyer, Clay, Hazel, and the rest of the Clearwater Marine Aquarium team can find a new companion for her. Filming began on October 7, 2013, at Clearwater Marine Aquarium in Clearwater, Florida.
Reference: The Andy Griffith Show (1960) (TV Series) - Hazel names the sea turtle Mavis after a character from "The Andy Griffith Show."
Crazy Credits: (a) The opening of the film has no credits but the title. The title is shown on a beach and disappears when a wave comes as if it is being washed away. (b) Just before the end credits start, it shows news footage of the true story which inspired the movie. (c) After the credits finish rolling, Rufus the prank-loving bird makes some noise.
This is the fifth movie featuring both Morgan Freeman and with Ashley Judd. The first four were Kiss the Girls (1997), High Crimes (2002), Dolphin Tale (2011), and Olympus Has Fallen (2013).
Credit to Canadian Tax Credit and Ontario Tax Credit.
In between the two Dolphin Tale movies, Harry Connick Jr. and Kris Kristofferson played father/son roles in Angels Sing (2013).
Quotes: 1. Bethany Hamilton: "Winter's been such an inspiration to me. Isn't she amazing?" 2. Nurse's Aide: [Referring to Roofus] "What on Earth is wrong with that bird?" Hazel Haskett: "Where do I start?" 3. Dr. Cameron McCarthy: "I've got jars of peanut butter older than you!"
