Written by Rob Davis (as Robert Davis) & Cathy Dennis. Anachronisms: 1. Early in the movie late 1998/early 1999 Greg and Amber are watching Gilmore Girls, but Gilmore Girls didn't debut until October 2000. 2. The LCD camera-top monitors used on the production cameras during the filming scenes did not exist in 2002 or 2003. 3. Ready to Rumble poster visible in a 1998 scene. This film came out in 2000; even in a studio, a poster of it wouldn't exist at this time. 4. Post-2003 cars sporadically drive in the background. 5. The production sound mixer on set had a pair of black Audio-Technica ATH-M50 headphones. Those headphones did not exist during the early 2000s. 6. The entire film takes place in the late 90s/early 2000s, but a Jack in the Box restaurant can be scene with the modern logo/signage, which was introduced in 2009.

It Chapter Two. 2019, Starring
Jessica Chastain as Beverly Marsh:
The only female member of the Losers Club, who was abused physically and sexually by her father, was bullied at school over false rumors of promiscuity, and was Bill and Ben's love interest. As an adult, she has become a successful fashion designer in New York City while enduring an abusive marriage.
Sophia Lillis as Young Beverly Marsh
James McAvoy as Bill Denbrough:[5]
The most resourceful, the determined former leader of the Losers Club who sought revenge for the murder of his younger brother, Georgie, and fought his killer, Pennywise, during the summer of 1989. He promises that he and the other Losers will return to Derry if It resurfaces. As an adult, Bill is a successful mystery novelist in Los Angeles, and is married to a successful actress named Audra Phillips.
Jaeden Martell as Young Bill Denbrough
Bill Hader as Richie Tozier:[5]
Bill's bespectacled best friend and fellow member of the Losers Club, whose loud mouth and foul language often get him into trouble. As an adult, Richie becomes a successful stand-up comic in Chicago.
Finn Wolfhard as Young Richie Tozier
Isaiah Mustafa as Mike Hanlon:[6]
A member of the Losers Club who fought against It. As an adult, Mike is the only one to stay in Derry and becomes the town librarian. He summons the other Losers back to Derry when It resurfaces.
Chosen Jacobs as Young Mike Hanlon
Tristian Levi Cox and Torian Matthew Cox as 4-year-old Mike Hanlon
Jay Ryan as Ben Hanscom:[7]
A member of the Losers Club who fought against It and was bullied as a child for being overweight. As an adult, he is fit and a successful architect living in upstate New York.
Jeremy Ray Taylor as Young Ben Hanscom
James Ransone as Eddie Kaspbrak:[8]
A member of the Losers Club who is the epitome of a hypochondriac. As an adult, Eddie is a successful risk assessor living in New York City and is married to Myra, who is very similar to his Munchausen syndrome by proxy-stricken mother Sonia.
Jack Dylan Grazer as Young Eddie Kaspbrak
Andy Bean as Stanley Uris:[8]
A pragmatic member of the Losers Club who fought against It. As an adult, he becomes a firm accountant in Atlanta and is married to a woman named Patty Blum. He later commits suicide because he knows that he fears the creature too much.
Wyatt Oleff as Young Stanley Uris
Bill Skarsgård as Pennywise the Dancing Clown / "It":
An ancient, trans-dimensional monster that awakens every twenty-seven years to feed on the fear of children that it murders. Pennywise is It's favorite and primary form. It was overpowered and seriously wounded by the Losers Club in 1989, forcing it into early hibernation. This defeat motivates the monster to rebuild its strength and exact revenge against the Losers once they return to Derry.
Other forms of It include Joan Gregson as Mrs. Kersh, an apparently sweet and gentle elderly woman, and actually a perfidious monster, who lives in Beverly Marsh's childhood home; Javier Botet as Hobo, a leper man who encountered a young Eddie at the 29 Neibolt Street house, and also as The Witch, the monstrous form of Mrs. Kersh, Jackson Robert Scott as Georgie Denbrough, Bill's deceased younger brother, and Owen Teague as Patrick Hockstetter, Henry's dead friend who was killed by Pennywise in the sewers in 1989. It also briefly appears without clown makeup, presumably as his alias "Bob Gray" (also played by Skarsgård).
Additionally, Teach Grant portrays Henry Bowers,[9] a psychopath who terrorized the Losers Club in the summer of 1989 before he was arrested for killing his father. Nicholas Hamilton reprises his role as the young Henry Bowers. Molly Atkinson reprises her role as Sonia, Eddie's Munchausen syndrome by proxy-stricken mother, and also plays Eddie's wife Myra, who is very similar to Sonia. Xavier Dolan and Taylor Frey appear as Adrian Mellon[10] and Don Hagarty, a gay couple who are attacked by a group of youths during a carnival before Mellon is killed by It, while Jake Weary appears as Webby, the leader of the youth gang who attacks Adrian and Don. Luke Roessler portrays Dean, a young boy who meets Bill near the storm drain where Georgie was killed in 1988, and is later killed by It at the Funland, while Ryan Kiera Armstrong appears as Victoria Fuller, a little girl with a large birthmark on her cheek, who is killed by It after he lures her to under the bleachers at a baseball game. Jess Weixler portrays Bill's wife Audra Denbrough (nee Phillips), Will Beinbrink portrays Beverly's abusive husband Tom Rogan,[10] and Martha Girvin appears as Stanley's wife Patty. Stephen Bogaert, Joe Bostick and Megan Charpentier reprise their roles from the first film as Beverly's abusive father Alvin Marsh, pharmacist Mr. Keene, and Keene's daughter Gretta, respectively. Juno Rinaldi portrays the adult Gretta.
It writer and creator of the original 1986 novel Stephen King cameos as a pawn shop owner, the film's director Andy Muschietti cameos as a customer at the pharmacy, and filmmaker Peter Bogdanovich cameos as the director of the film based on Bill's novel. Brandon Crane, who portrayed the young Ben in the 1990 miniseries adaptation, also makes a cameo appearance as an associate at Ben's architecture company.[11] Filmmaker Guillermo del Toro was sought for a cameo as the janitor that Ben encounters when fleeing from Pennywise. Despite nearly securing del Toro, he was not included in the final film.[12] Katie Lunman reprises her role as Betty Ripsom in a vocal capacity, in addition to portraying a second character, Chris. Cineplex CrossIron Mills Theatre, October 9, 2019, with Chantelle Luther and Melanie Luther. Soundtrack: Music by Benjamin Wallfisch. Anachronisms: 1. During a flashback to summer of 1989, an arcade cabinet of "Mortal Kombat" is clearly seen at the movie theater. But the game was not released until October of 1992. A cabinet of ''Mortal Kombat II'' is also visible in the arcade, while the game actually came out in 1993. 2. Richie's Mustang is the MY18 model and not the MY16 model.

LADIES IN BLACK is set in December 1959, plus January 1960. Daughter Lisa Miles (Angourie Rice) is trying to get her dad (Shane Jacobson) to sign her application form dated Saturday 12-12-1959 to apply for a Commonwealth Scholarship to pay for her entire university education, whilst her distracted dad is watching horse racing on their television. However the horse racing footage shows a Sydney horse race, where horse number 14 is the winner, whilst naming the winners of the 1966 Melbourne Cup horse race, that was held on the afternoon of Tuesday 1st November 1966 - 1966 MELBOURNE CUP, 1st Place Galilee, 2nd Place Light Fingers, 3rd Place Duo. The winner, the four year old Bay Gelding who was foaled in 1963, GALILEE had sadlecloth number four. In 1959 horse racing was heard on radio, seen in newsreel footage shown at most cinemas and at Newsreel Cinemas in each Australian Capital City, but in 1959 there were no live television broadcasts of any Australian horse races. In 1959 all Sydney horse races move clockwise, and all Melbourne horse races move counter-clockwise (anti-clockwise).

In 1959 Sydney residential single-phase two-wire mains electricity service flows overhead from the street service pole via two insulated wires to the two insulators at the service point located outside the house at roof level, where the Home Wiring System begins that sends electricity to the main meter box. The red brick house, where Lisa Miles (Angourie Rice) lives with her parents (Susie Porter and Shane Jacobson), incorrectly shows its mains electricity service with one aerial bundled cable that was only installed in Sydney from the 1980s, with just the one insulated outdoor Double Core Double Insulated Cable Wire connected using only one of the two electricity insulators visible at the service point.

The vision of the 1966 Melbourne Cup race called by Melbourne's own Bert Bryant does not match the vision that is showing on the television as it is a Sydney race and the horses are racing the opposite way to Melbourne's way of racing. (movie set in 1959)

Despite being set in 1959/60, "First Fleet" class catamaran ferries - built between 1984 and 1986 - appear in several shots.

On the counter at the Goodes Department Store, the 1950s/60s/70s cash register appears to be the NCR 100-146 cash register. Incorrectly the cash register is the post-decimal version, that was seen all over Australia from 14th February 1966 when Australia changed the currency to Australian dollars and cents, from Australian pounds shillings and pence. Mechanical, manually operated, built like a tank, and guaranteed to strengthen the muscles in most shopkeeper's fingers.

Factual errors
As the girl is trying to get her dad to sign her uni form he is watching the races where Gallilee beats Light fingers, these 2 horses were born in 1963 and 1961 yet the movie is summer 1959/60

Ed is seen watching a horse race on television. Two of the horses names (Galilee and Light Fingers) were foaled several years after the movie was set.

Miscellaneous
There is a scene where Lesley (Angourie Rice) is reading a book in the park during her lunch break. This was filmed in Hyde Park Sydney however in the distance in the left of the screen you can clearly see present day Sydney traffic from 2017. This is despite the films setting in 1959.

Incorrectly regarded as goofs
Numerous Sydney electric trams are featured in the film, set in November/December 1959, it should be noted that all the electric trams in the Sydney CBD, were all replaced by diesel buses. Ending 100 years of tram services, Sydney's last electric tram ran in the Sydney CBD from Hunter Street in the city and then along Elizabeth Sreet in the city, Oxford Street, and along Anzac Parade to La Perouse on 25th of February 1961.

In the scene with the Tram & Tram stop next to Mark Foys they forgot to CGI out the lawn beside the Tram Stop.

Movie is set in Sydney in 1959, but in a shot of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Harry Seidler's Blues Point Tower was visible, but that tower was only built in 1962.

"The Little Drummer Boy" written by Harry Simeone, Katherine K. Davis and Henry Onorati
"Anarchy in the U.K." by Sex Pistols
"I Ran 6 Miles" by Gary Sredzienski
"Reelin' In the Years" written by Steely Dan; "I Love It When a Plan Comes Together" (Uses original The A-Team Theme composed by Mike Post and Pete Carpenter). Anachronisms: 1. The engraving plates are supposed to date from the 1970s, yet in close-up they are the "large headed" modern design. 2. A number of military units which once existed in the past are mentioned as if they are still active formations. Some of the A-Team's members are said to be former members of the 4th Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, and General Morrison apparently commands the 8th Infantry Division in Iraq. However, the real 4th Ranger Battalion was disbanded after sustaining massive casualties in Italy during World War II. Likewise, the actual 8th Infantry Division had been disbanded in 1992. However, the decision to use these units may have been to intentionally distance the film, its
characters, and events from reality while maintaining a degree of 'authenticity.' 3. General Tuco is wearing Oakley Inmate sunglasses, a model not available in 2002 when the prologue takes place.

Written by Lesley Barber. Anachronism: Though the film supposedly takes place in 2015 (due to the date on Joe Chandler's gravestone), the footage of the Boston Bruins game shown on TV in the film has the St. Louis Blues wearing a version of the uniform (featuring yellow piping) that they stopped wearing in the 2013-2014 National Hockey League season. The game also includes goaltender Jaroslav Halak playing for the Blues as well despite the fact he was traded from the St. Louis Blues to the New York Islanders in 2014.
