Dexter takes Emma outside onto the roof, overlooking St Paul's cathedral. In the background you can see two skyscrapers. One of these is the Heron Tower, which wasn't completed until late 2010, having not even been granted planning approval until mid-2002. 2. The wide shot of London in 1994 pans across the Houses of Parliament and then you catch sight of parliamentary office building, Portcullis House but it wasn't built for another 7 years. 3. In a scene set on July 15, 1994, Dexter tells his mother that he won't be able to stay to visit her that evening because he already has plans to attend the premiere of Jurassic Park. However, the UK premiere of Jurassic Park took place a year to the day earlier, on July 15, 1993. 4. At 1:18:45, where they were supposed to be in 2003, we see a BMW X6 parked on the side of the road, which in 2007 was a concept model of the BMW company and was later released in 2009. 5. The Corona hit, "The Rhythm of the Night", was first released in December in 1993. In the movie it appears in July 1993, 6 months prior to its first actual release. 6. In July 2003 when Emma enters cafeteria with Jean-Pierre, there's a board next to entrance with prices. All prices are in francs (F). France joined Eurozone monetary union in 1999, so prices should be in Euros. Quote: Emma: :A tortilla is either corn or wheat. But a corn tortilla folded and filled is a taco, whereas a filled wheat tortilla is a burrito. Deep fry a burrito, it's a chimichanga. Toast a tortilla, it's a tostada. Roll it, it's an enchilada."

Trivia: 1. It is a prequel to the 1982 film of the same name by John Carpenter, the plot ending immediately before the start of the plot for that film. 2. The scene where Sander and Finch recruit Kate to come to Antartica is the only scene in this film or in John Carpenter's film that doesn't take place in Antarctica. Quote: Sam Carter: "I wanna know how the Cavaliers are doing?" Kate Lloyd: "Hmm. I don't follow football." Sam Carter: "It's a basketball team. They play basketball." Jameson: "Barely. They're the Cavaliers, man." Anachronisms: 1. The very first time we see Kate, when she is examining the extracted specimen, she is listening to music on molded plastic headphones that were not available in 1982. Smaller headphones such as these, designed at the time for listening to Walkman-like portable equipment would have had a metal band going over the head, holding the earpieces in place. 2. The ukulele played in the dance scene is a Fender. This model of ukulele was introduced in the 2000s, so it was not available in 1982. 3. When Kate Loyd is inspecting the mouths of her colleagues for fillings she appears to be using an LED flashlight which did not exist in 1982. 4. The movie opens with the caption "Antartica, Winter 1982". Due to the tilt of the Earth, the entire Antarctic continent is in total darkness during winter. There is only night during winter, and even in the surrounding regions the sun would barely be above the horizon, giving the impression of perpetual sunset. John Carpenter's film made the same mistake as well. This film likely did it for both artistic and continuity purposes.

The film covers only the first half of the L. Ron Hubbard book. The original plans called for a sequel to be produced, which would be based on second half of the novel by L. Ron Hubbard. These plans were scrapped due to the poor critical and public reaction to this film. 2. Until I Know Who Killed Me exceeded their record by winning eight Razzies in 2008, 'Battlefield Earth' was tied with Showgirls for the most Golden Raspberry Award wins in a year: seven. While 'Showgirls' received almost twice as many Razzie nominations, 'Battlefield Earth' "won" in every single category it was nominated at the 2001 Awards. Forest Whitaker was the only nominee to escape without a Razzie (for Worst Supporting Actor; Barry Pepper won). 'Battlefield Earth' also went on to win special Razzies for Worst Drama of Our First 25 Years (2005) and Worst Picture of the Decade (2010).

Trivia: 1. The 2010 American version is based on the 2007 Israeli film of the same name (Ha-Hov or HaChov, in Hebrew). 2. This is the second movie Ciarán Hinds has played a Mossad agent. The first time was in Munich. Anachronisms: 1. One of the cars shown when the Rachel, Stefan and David are getting off the plane in 1966 is a 1981 Oldsmobile Delta 88. 2. The necklace camera Rachel uses to surreptitiously photograph Vogel is impossibly small for a film camera of that time period. 3. Vogel uses latex gloves when examining Rachel in 1966, but this was not common in medical practice before the 1980s. 4.
Some of the white-and-yellow trams seen in several scenes are Tatra T or KT models that were built only from the 1970s. 5. Returning from its mission, the Israeli squad is welcomed at Atarot air field in 1966. At that time, Atarot was actually in Jordanian hands. 6. The junction box where Stephan listens into the emergency call from Dr. Bernhardt's office is marked "DDR Telekommunikation". The term "Telekommunikation" wasn't in use in German speaking countries before the 1990's. 7.
In the movie poster, young Rachel Singer (circa. 1965) is seen holding a Beretta 92 handgun. This model pistol didn't come out until the mid-1970's. 8. When Rachel is been driven in the car in Israel, a green Egged bus is reflected in her sun glasses. Until the end of the '90s all of Egged's buses were red or white with faded red stripes and the company did not change the color of its buses to green until after 2000 but the scene takes place in 1997.

Trivia: 1. Biographical film focusing on 30 years of the life of rhythm and blues musician Ray Charles. It is an independently produced film in which Jamie Foxx received an Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance. Jamie Foxx had to wear eye prosthetics that really did make him blind for up to 14 hours a day during shooting. Jamie Foxx played the piano in all scenes himself. 2. First African-American biopic to be nominated for a Best Picture Oscar. First African-American biopic to be nominated for (6) Academy Awards, including Best Actor and Best Picture. Anachronisms: 1. The 737-400 aircraft shown landing after Ray Charles returns from the European tour was not introduced until the 1980s. 2. While touring with Lowell Fulsom, the band drives past a train that includes "spine" rolling stock with containers stacked two high. These cars (along with containers) were not introduced until many years later. 3. At the 1965 Newport Jazz Festival scene, Quincy Jones is wearing "Ray Bans" sunglasses bearing the familiar Ray Bans logo, introduced in 1990, on the corner of one of the lenses. 4. In a scene set in 1954, Ray and the guys from Atlantic Records pull up in front of a theater in a 1956 Ford taxicab. 5. At several points during Ray's early career, the light switches on the wall are a modern style, not seen for years afterwards. 6. Ray and Bea's first baby has a very modern pacifier in his mouth. Apparently the baby was being truly pacified. 7. In a scene set in 1961, a police motorcycle is an EVO motored Harley-Davidson, not available until 1984. 8. The vinyl siding on Bea's and Ray's original house didn't exist in the late 1950s. 9. In a scene set in the late 1950s, Ray's baby boy is sitting on a Precious Moments blanket. Precious Moments were not introduced until the early 1970s. 10. About halfway through the movie Ray scrounges around on the floor trying to pick up some tablets that fell out of a canister. The floor has round rubber tiling of a type not available until 1975. 11. While recording "Georgia On My Mind", the microphone he is singing into reads "ABC-Paramount." At the time, ABC Records did not have it's own recording studio. This particular session was recorded at Capitol Studios in New York City. 12. When the DJ is playing I've Got A Woman, the record label is red. However, Atlantic records was still using yellow labels on their 45s until # 1083, and this record was # 1050. A red label would be a reissue. 13. During Ray's World Tour set in the 60's, there is a shot of an airport approach with a clearly visible 737-300 or -400. While the 737 first entered commercial service in 1968, the 300/400 variants weren't introduced until 1985. 14. At the end of the movie when Ray is being honored by the Georgia legislature in 1979 it shows his wife, Della Bea, standing with him. However, Ray Charles and Della Bea were divorced in 1977. 15. An airliner is shown landing during one of Ray's early 1960s tours. The plane is clearly a modern twin-engine jet (737, 757, or 767) instead of one of the three or four engine jets in use in the early 1960s.

Trivia: 1. It was the film debut of Brad Garrett. 2. Studio executives hoped Tiffany would attract a younger audience. Ms. Waldo continued (somewhat graciously) to voice the part in subsequent 'Jetsons' productions. 3. Jeff Bergman was used in some scenes, because George O'Hanlon and Mel Blanc died during production. The film is dedicated to the memory of both men. 4. The last film project of George O'Hanlon, Penny Singleton and Mel Blanc. 5. George O'Hanlon had suffered a stroke, so when he made the later Jetson series and the movie, he was practically blind and had very little short term memory. He had to have each line spoken to him so he could repeat it back. 6. Janet Waldo, the original voice of Judy Jetson, can still be heard at one point of the film. When Judy Jetson and Apollo Blue are in the hologram, and Judy falls through the hologram tree, Apollo asks her if she's alright. Judy responds, "Uh... I think." This line is said by Waldo. 7. A few moments before his death, George O'Hanlon had recorded all of his dialogue for George Jetson. According to voice director Andrea Romano, O'Hanlon had suffered a second stroke and found it difficult to read and hear and in the end he died in the recording studio doing what he loved. 8. Rick Dees, as "Rick Dees and his Cast of Idiots", hit #1 on the Billboard Charts in 1976 with the song 'Disco Duck'. Rick Dees was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in 1999.

Ravenstahl, the Mayor of Pittsburgh, where portions of the movie were shot. He was Washington & Jefferson College's starting place kicker on the football team for three years and was team captain for his senior year. He holds the school record for most consecutive extra points. Quote: Batman: "No guns, no killing." Catwoman: "Where's the fun in that?"
